The Irish Sea could be an unwelcome visitor at this year's Martime Festival this weekend.
A particular combination of atmospheric conditions and wind factors could lead to low-level flooding along St George's Quay where many events are due to take place.
Organisers have consulted with the Environment Agency and say that disruption is unlikely, but have announced contingency plans so some events could take place at a flood contingency tent behind the Maritime Museum or at the Royal King's Arms hotel.
