Miners' slow start
MINERS Rangers U9s did not wake up until after the first quarter but by then the damage had been done by Westhoughton who ran out 30-14 winners.
Although the Rangers finally rallied after that opening 10 minute spell, the first half deficit was too much to make up and even some outstanding tackling by Jolley and Mikalauskas (MOM) could not prevent a loss.
Other good individual performances came from Marsden, Walker and Eccleston.
