A VIOLENT robber who attacked a pub barman is still being sought by police.
Last month a man punched a staff member at the Yew Tree in Brudgewater Road, Mosley Common and snatched a small amount of cash after threatening staff with a screwdriver.The man fled from the pub with a small amount of cash after punching a staff member and threatening him with screwdriver.
Now police are appealing for information after other leads drew a blank following the incident with happened around 5pm on Wednesday, February 4.
The attacker was white, in his late 20s or early 30s, 5 ft 9ins tall, with short brown hair shaved at the sides and scruffy on top. He was wearing a distinctive gold ring on the little finger of his right hand.
