THUGS attacked an Atherton man with a chisel before stealing his Mercedes.
The 48-year-old answered a knock at his Rosehill Terrace home at 11.15pm on Friday and was confronted by two men armed with a metal chisel.
The offenders pushed their way into the house and assaulted the man with the chisel, demanding the keys to his vehicle. As a result of the attack the man sustained bruising and swelling to his face. The offenders left in the victims car, a red Mercedes ML270 registration number W68 FCB.
The first offender is described as white, 6ft 2in tall and stockily built, with short hair. He was aged in his 40s and was wearing a blue shirt. The second man is described as white, 5ft 9in, of slim build and in his 20s.
