PEOPLE are being invited to apply for tickets to attend an event to commemorate the Queen's Golden Jubilee before the offer closes on April 15.
The county service of thanksgiving, to be held in Blackburn Cathedral on Sunday, June 2, at 4pm, will be a focal point of Lancashire's celebration of the jubilee.
Up to 400 tickets for the service are available to Lancashire on a 'first come, first served' basis.
The service is being organised by the Lord-Lieutenant of Lancashire, Lord Shuttleworth , and the Dean of Blackburn, the Very Rev Christopher Armstrong.
