JOHN Duffy is back at Hilton Park - just as the Centurions have run into a massive injury pile-up.
The talented half-back who quit Hilton Park in the off-season after being unable to agree terms, returned this week and goes straight into the squad for the Good Friday National League Cup clash with Swinton at Hilton Park, kick off 3pm.
Coach Paul Terzis welcomed Duffy back with open arms as he learned that another five of his senior squad face long lay-offs.
Points ace Neil Turley will be out for up to three weeks with ankle trouble and he will be joined for a similar length of time by Jon Roper, Vila Matautia and Chris Irwin. Roper has a damaged shoulder and bruised sternum, Matautia a groin problem and Irwin a recurrence of a calf muscle strain.
Stand-off Simon Svabic will miss most of the NLC competition after having surgery on his dislocated and broken finger . He joins other long-term absentees Lee Sanderson (jaw) and Paul Norman (knee).
Tomorrow's squad is: Bretherton, Andrews, McCully, Anderson, Ingram, Hamilton, Swann, Whittle, Rowley, Knox, Baldwin, Bristow, Isherwood, Bradbury, Ball, Price, Morley, Hodson, Duffy.
