POLICE and firefighters were bombarded with missiles by two youths on the roof of a cash and carry in Leigh early on Friday.
Officers were called to Bookers in Leigh Road at about 4am after an alarm was activiated.
When they arrived, they found two 15-year-olds had gone on the roof and barracaded the front door.
They refused to come down and started throwing missiles at the emergency services.
Leigh firefighters cut through the front door and the youths were arrested.
Insp Tony Johnstone, of Leigh police, said: "The two teenagers are due to be questioned later today. No one was injured in the incident, which lasted two hours."
