PADIHAM boss Graham Howarth has warned his players not to bank on three points tomorrow against bottom-of-the-table Castleton Gabriels.
Gabriels grabbed a point against in-form Darwen - who had won their last five games - in the NWCL second division game last Saturday, taking their season's points total to just eight.
"We only beat them 1-0 away from home and I was suprised that they'd only got a few points because I didn't think they were that bad," said Howarth, who is pleased with the way his side have bounced back from an 'awful' performance in the 2-1 defeat at Curzon Ashton a fortnight ago.
"We played well and got a 1-1 draw against Leek and then beat Cheadle 4-3 on Tuesday.
"We had to beat Cheadle four times in the same game, though, after letting them back into it, but the last two performances have been much improved on difficult surfaces.
"The pitches are drying out so quickly there is no time to roll them," said Howarth.
