THERE could be a new look Chorley side taking to the field tomorrow as new boss Mark Molyneaux starts stamping his authority on the Mapgies.
There will be at least five new additions to the squad and there could be a couple of debutants when Chorley travel to North Ferriby on Saturday for his first game in charge and then welcome Gretna to Victory Park on Monday.
The extrovert goalkeeper, who takes over from Ken Wright who is moving upstairs, will sign himself on before transfer deadline day - although he is keen to stress that he will have a good look at Chorley stalwart Simon Marsh - and has a few more additions.
Darren Emmett and Paul Varley will come from club he left last week, Trafford, while Billy McCartney - who played at Ramsbottom this season - is also due to sign.
New Zealand international Joe Murray, an air traffic controller who has been playing at Weymouth, is back in the north for three months and he will also sign.
"I want to stress that these are cover," said the new chief, who is hoping one more win will guarantee Chorley UniBond First Division football next season.
"I like to have a squad of 20 to 25 to choose from and Ken only had about 14. It is light so it does need building up.
"I don't have any extra money, but money isn't the answer. What I can guarantee is a team that will play football and be organised. I won't promise a league championship, that is not my way, but there is a good set up here and we will build on it.
"If I am not doing a good job, I will be the first to walk away.
"Everyone at the club has now got a clean slate. It doesn't matter what they have done.
'Molly' continued: "I watched Chorley on Tuesday and even though they beat Harrogate 1-0, they do seem to be lacking a bit of confidence.
"I have seen a couple of things which will need rectifying, some good things and some bad things and I will be installing discipline into the side. A club needs discipline from the moment the players enter the ground.
"And I want to see some smiling faces. They all seemed so miserable. I think this will be a culture shock for many."
Molyneaux immediately created an impact at Chorley by pretending to be Ian Leather and going up and collecting his man of the match prize on Tuesday.
"It got a laugh out of them. Paul Fleming was in stitches and I have also found out David Eatock is gullible so there will be a few tricks played on him."
