TWO men have been arrested in connection with an attack on a man outside a Radcliffe pub.
Jeff Cooke was assaulted in Water Street, near to the Royal Oak, by a group of around five men on Saturday night.
He suffered serious head injuries and is still poorly in the intensive care unit at Fairfield Hospital.
Examinations have revealed he has sustained head injuries which may be permanent.
Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to come forward, especially a number of motorists who swerved to avoid colliding with the group.
