REGARDING the proposed closure of care homes for the elderly in Lancs, I wonder if these officials have really thought about what they are doing.
They would not be in their job were it not for these unfortunate old people.
They are the ones who started and built the NHS. They paid their dues from day one and they didn't get massive wages.
Some of these people have sold their homes and handed over the money they received to help pay for their care.
It was only recently that councillors got big rises. But why should they get these pay rises if they cannot budget their finances better?
