A PROMOTIONS company has made big business gains at its Burnley branch.
Domestic & General Services (DGS), based at Martin Street, Burnley has just taken on three new clients and recruited 15 more employees to handle the extra work.
It has just been appointed to handle inquiries and order processing for vacuum cleaner manufacturer Vax and electrical appliance company De Longhi and won a contract to distribute garden accessories for Stiga, who are also using the company to sell its ice hockey games.
Roger Wood the Burnley branch's general manager said: "These new business wins have increased calls into DGS by one third and confirm our position as a significant promotions manager."
The company provides promotional services including call handling, pick and pack, data management and specialist mailings.
Domestic & General Plc provides breakdown covers for consumer electrical equipment, domestic appliances and gast central heating systems. As well as Burnley it has sites in London, Coventry, Bedworth, Nottingham, Slough, Redhill and Brighton.
