SOUTH Ribble Tennis Centre, Bamber Bridge is to host to the Bowker North of England Junior Tennis Championships 2002.
The competiton will begin on Monday and culminate in a Grand Finals Day on Sunday April 7 and some of the north west's finest talent will be on show.
Among those competing will be 14-year-old Hertz National champion, Chris Llewellyn from Preston, and 13-year-old National Junior Club League champion Andrew Gent from Chorley.
Sponsored by the car dealership Bowker, the tennis centre have pulled of a coup in successfully applying to host this prestigious event, which was last held ten years ago.
This event will hopefully prove to be a great success, with South Ribble dedicating all of its courts to the event.
Competitors will play in three set matches between 9 am and 7pm, and spectators are welcome to take in the action.
