CELEBRATIONS were in order after Zara Glover from Whitestake secured top 12 placings in three events at the British Tenpin Bowling Association's National Championships in Chester on Sunday.
Zara's victories included second place in the Ladies' Double's competiton, when bowling with Jo Harries from Tolworth.
She also secured third place in the Women's All Events competition before completing her hat-trick 12th place in the Women's Singles.
The cream of British ten-pin bowling were competing in the event which was sponsored by the Megabowl Preston, at the Capitol centre. Speaking of the good news Megabowl manager, Andy Coverly said "The championships have really grown over the years.
"Zara's been practising hard and we're all delighted that she's enjoyed such a successful championship."
Other competitors included the current England number one, Steve Thornton and last year's champion Richard Hood.
This was the second hat-trick that England international Zara has achieved -- last year she won a hat-trick of medals at the 11th European Championships in Alborg in Denmark -- gold, silver and bronze.
