NEW oil regulations were highlighted at the latest breakfast briefing staged by the Bury Business Environment Association (BEA).
Around 33 delegates attended the event held at the BEA's headquarters in Link House, Bury.
Guest speaker was Mr Stephen Smith of the Environment Agency who briefed businesses about the implications of the new oil regulations.
In effect, companies storing as little as 200 litres of oil will be required to follow certain strict rules and guidelines to avoid spillages.
At the event, BEA welcomed the latest companies into its fold. Its membership now stands at around 180 companies.
