A BURY firm certainly knows its onions according to computer software giants Sage.
Accountancy software specialists Sudden Solutions Ltd are now toasting success after their instant entry into the national league tables produced by Sage.
Hollins-based Sudden, part of business advisers DTE Group, received a 12-bottle case of wine to mark its entry.
The company has taken 21st place among 277 re-sellers of Sage software in the "second division" during the final quarter of last year.
And that's a remarkable achievement for Sudden which only entered the Sage market as recently as last August.
Steve Cannon, Sage project manager at Sudden Solutions, said: "Clearly, our ambition is to move up through Sage's league tables.
"But given that, we came from nowhere and we were unknown to Sage a few months ago. This was a creditable performance."
As a result, Sudden Solutions has become a "preferred re-seller," further developing its position as a supplier of business accounting software to small and medium-sized enterprises throughout the North West.
