A VAUXHALL Cavalier worth £3,000 was stolen after after burglars at the owner's house lifted the keys.
The car, registration N334CEM, was stolen from Barker Lane, Mellor, between 11.40pm on Monday and 4.50am yesterday.
The thieves also stole £80 in cash.
It is believed to be the latest in a string of similar incidents which have taken place throughout East Lancashire recently.
