A CHARITY is gearing up for its annual five-day stay in Darwen.
Cancer Research UK (CRUK) will be in a charity shop in in Bridge Street from April 8 to 12.
It will be open on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10am until 4pm, and on Tuesday from 10am to 12.30pm.
Organisers are still appealing for people in Darwen to donate unwanted items. Collections can be organised.
Organiser Linda Chatburn said: "Instead of throwing away any unwanted clothing people should give us a call.
"People do not realise how much money we generate from this each year, so we really do need people to take an interest and donate what they can."
Anybody wanting to make a donation should call 01254 763289 or 703731. CRUK cannot accept electrical items.
