THE Cherry Pickers will be bringing their new brand of rock and country music to Blackpool Winter Gardens this Saturday (April 6)-- all in the name of charity.
The five talented musicians, who have only been together for a year, have already built up a strong following from gigs in London and across the North West.
And they are all set to give a foot-stomping performance when they headline the Macmillan Windmill Appeal charity concert in the Spanish Hall on April 6.
Northern Sounds, The Theory and Jaydid will also play and the special guest MC will be Jonathan Thompson who has appeared on Granada television and BBC 2 Urban Village.
Doors open at 7.30pm and tickets at £6 are on sale at the Winter Gardens box office. Proceeds of the concert will go to the Macmillan Windmill Appeal to build a new cancer unit at Blackpool Victoria Hospital.
