WORLD darts champions Tony David and Trina Gulliver will be in Morecambe this month, along with legendary commentator Tony Green.
Tony and Trina, the reigning Embassy world men's and women's champions, will be at the Chieftain Hotel, Pedder Street, Morecambe on Monday, April 15, as part of the Embassy World Darts Road show.
Tony David has become a national hero in his native Australia, overcoming arthritic haemophilia which means he cannot straighten his throwing arm and walks with a limp to become champion just nine years after taking up the game.
Trina Gulliver is the world's undisputed number one women's player and is appearing on the road show tour for the fourth time.
Pat Fell, chairman of the Morecambe and Heysham Ladies Darts League, said: "Everyone is really looking forward to the Embassy world Darts Roadshow coming to Morecambe.
"To have two world champions in action is a fantastic bonus for all local darts enthusiasts while Tony Green is one of the sport's great characters.
It's going to be a tremendous night out."
Every road show sees top-line entertainment and the exciting Embassy Bullseye Challenge, offering contestants some great prizes.
