A LOCAL man has been appointed tax manager by the Manchester office of chartered accountants and business advisers HLB Kidsons.
Mark Chapman (33), who lives in Bury, was previously a tax manager for PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Mark will be responsible for implementing tax planning strategies for the firm which recently announced a merger with Baker Tilly to create the eighth largest accountancy firm in the UK.
The Bury man said: "I am looking forward to my new role at HLB Kidsons.
"The opportunity here is quite different to that at any other firm of accountants as it provides greater freedom to work on a wider client base."
