FORMER Shrimps assistant boss Dave Miller had a double celebration this week.
He began his managerial career at Stalybridge Celtic with three wins out of three, then won the National Lottery! Former Stockport player and Leigh assistant Miller, a member of a syndicate, which shared £1million, will take home £85,000.
Miller told BBC Sport: "When I took on the manager's job, the team had just lost seven games and was about to face some of its most challenging matches of the season.
"Then, sandwiched between all that, I have a lottery win.
"I can hardly believe it and can only hope that the good fortune continues."
