BURY FC Supporters Trust took a massive step forward on Tuesday evening when they agreed its primary constitution.
More than 50 people turned up to the second meeting of the Trust working party at Bury FC Social Club and elected 11 people to a steering committee.
Other key items discussed on the night were the commercial name of the organisation, the timing of an official launch and the creation of a newsletter and website.
The constitution - which effectively creates a co-operative democratic society - will now be ratified by lawyers and should be finalised inside a week.
