A TEENAGER who went missing from home at Easter was found safe and well on Wednesday morning.
The hunt began for 16-year-old Anthony William Carter after he didn't return to his Norfolk Road home on Atherton's Hag Fold estate after going out on Saturday morning.
Anthony, who has learning difficulties and had only a small amount of money on him, was last seen at 2.30pm on Saturday in Gloucester Street -- a short distance from his home.
Despite checks with known friends and family the sandy haired teenager was missing from home for four days.
A police spokesman said: "Anthony was found early on Wednesday by a police officer patrolling Leigh bus station."
