AS a resident of the Deepdale area I was interested to read the article by Ben Hewes in last week's Citizen about the latest police operation.

These kerb crawlers present a danger to residents in this area and I am always worried about letting my young daughter play near my house, even in playgrounds.

I think that anything done to move these girls from our streets is a good thing, but I am worried about what might happen in the future.

When these girls have lost the money they get from prostitution, what will they do then? Will they be back on the streets, for another reason -- like robbery.

I hope the police have thought of this.
