I WONDER how many more elderly people, like myself, answered their door recently on a Monday night at 7pm to be asked by a persistent young woman if I used British Gas.
I would not normally open the door at this time as it is dark -- but I was expecting my friend calling after tea. Instead, I was bombarded with 'Do you use British Gas? Why not? When did you change over? etc, etc'. I suggest British Gas should do their door advertising on light summer nights or at Safeways or Kwik Save doorways.
