AS a member of the "Save Affetside School" campaign it is clear to me that there is a real sense of community in our village.
When I knocked on doors for signatures for our petition, I was overwhelmed by the amount of feeling and support for the village school. Many residents had either once attended, or had children who did now, or will in the future. We are all hoping for a common sense outcome on April 11 and would welcome members of the council's executive to the village and its school. We also have a wonderful pub in an attractive rural setting.
