CUSTOMERS at the Royal Oak are now able to enjoy their new-look local.
The Pubmaster-owned pub in Longsight Road, Clayton-le-Dale, has had a full external refurbishment with a new updated but traditional look.
Landlords Mike Terry and Steve Rowley-Terry have also introduced a new menu since they took over in November, with dishes freshly made each day from local produce.
Steve said: "We are really enjoying it here and the pub is fantastic. The new menu has proved to be very popular with our customers and is part of our long term plan for the pub."
A bar menu is available Monday to Wednesday with a full a la carte menu Thursday to Sunday as well as traditional Sunday lunches.
Steve added: "The refurbishment is one of the things we really pushed for as it has transformed the pub. It is a lot more inviting now."
The pub runs karaoke nights on Wednesday and has started a Joker Jack Pot with a chance to win two tickets to Elton John's concert in Manchester.
Pubmaster regional manager Dave Daniel said: "Steve and Mike are proving to be great landlords and they know exactly what their customers like.
"I am sure that this success will continue well into the future."
