RAIL users across the North West face further disruption following the announcement of three one day strikes by train drivers.
Members of Aslef at First North Western will walk out on April 22, 29 and May 6, threatening travel chaos.
Train drivers are involved in a row over the disciplining of workers and have already held three strikes in a long-running dispute over the downgrading and dismissal of a number of union members.
Talks to try to resolve the row will be held tomorrow between the company and union officials.
Previous walkouts forced First North Western to cancel all train services.
Aslef's general secretary Mick Rix has accused First North Western of "abusing" disciplinary procedures and imposing inappropriate penalties.
