CHELSEA strike-pair Eidur Gudjohnsen and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink are currently on fire as the Blues close in on a Champions League place.

Claudio Ranieri's deadly-duo have already bagged an astonishing 52 goals between them this season in all competitions.

And now they have their sights firmly set on the 60-goal mark as the Londoners chase glory on two fronts as the domestic season comes to the boil.

Hasselbaink -- the Premiership's leading scorer -- leads the way with 30 goals to his name this term.

But Gudjohnsen isn't far behind with 22 and his all-round game has won him a host of admirers over the course of the season. The Icelandic international first sprang to prominence at PSV Eindhoven where he used to partner Brazilian ace Ronaldo in attack.

But a serious injury then set him back a couple of years before he finally re-emerged at Bolton where he regained both his fitness and form which earned him a multi-million pound move to the Bridge.

Rovers, however, boast a formidable strike-pair of their own in the shape of Matt Jansen and Andy Cole.

In the 12 games the two players have played together since Cole arrived from Manchester United they have found the net a total of 12 times.
