BOUNDARY changes mean every seat on Pendle Council is up for grabs on May 2 -- the first time the whole council has been elected since 1976.
In Pendle, which has a slim Labour majority, the three main parties are equally represented in nearly all the wards. There are three Independent candidates and two Socialist Alliance.
Former mayors Couns Ian and Gill Gilhespy (Lib Dem) are both standing down from Horsfield Ward, Colne; Coun Tim Ormrod (Labour), also a county councillor, is standing down in Waterside, Colne; Lib Dem Lord Tony Greaves is seeking election in Walverden, and Coun Roy Clarkson, Tory leader, is also retiring.
