THE frequency of Easy Access buses is to be increased in summer.
The number two service between Blackburn and Wilpshire will run every ten minutes instead of every fifteen minutes from June. Michael Morton, managing director of Blackburn Transport, said: "We have effectively tailor made the route to suit a number of user groups since the low floored Easy Access bus was introduced in January.
"The service is now being increased in frequency as part of our Metro Network upgrade."
The service is the first upgrade planned by the Metro.
