A late header from Nathan Edwards helped Padiham pull off a cup upset against Division One title contenders Enfield.
Edwards' near post flick header 11 minutes from time gave Division Two leaders a hard fought victory after coming from behind to pull off the shock win.
Enfield, currently second in Division One, took the lead late in the first half when Jon Barlow's superb through ball was latched on to by Andy Hawrylak who finished with ease.
Hawrylak was one of the few players who could cope with the swirling wind and the hard Memorial Park pitch and twice he went close before finally scoring.
And Ben Haworth also had an impressive opening half with some strong running down the left before fading in the second half.
But Padiham were by no means overpowered by Enfield and the hard working Edwards hit the outside of the post from close range before Sean Williams made a good save to beat away a firm shot by Steve Meehan.
Just before the break, Enfield had a chance to double their lead but Tony Haworth had a shot cleared off the line.
Soon after the restart, Padiham's Warren Gore and Enfield's Nick Roscoe were booked after clashing before Padiham levelled the tie.
And it came courtesy of keeper Williams who punched the ball in to his own net following Meehan's in-swinging corner. With the conditions dictating the play, chances were at a minimum and it appeared that the game could be drifting in to extra time.
But with time ticking away, Edwards pounced to head home Meehan's cross to grab what turned out to be the winning goal.
Geoff Holgate should have extended Padiham's lead but after going around Williams the keeper recovered to save his shot on the line. Steve Wilson had a late half chance for Enfield but flashed his volley across the goal but now they will have to concentrate all their efforts on winning the league.
For Padiham though, the league and cup double is still on.
