SIX members of the same family accused of murdering a 62 years old Brierfield man have today made a brief appearance at Preston Crown Court.
The five men and one woman had the case against them adjourned for plea and directions on July 3.
They had been charged following the death of Raja Abdul Qayyam who lived in Halifax Road.
All the defendants live in the same road. They are: Shamshar Ali, 23, Tamazar Ali, 21, Sanwar Begum, 44, Mozamar Hussain, 49, Raja Khadin, 26, and Mazhar Akhlaq, 27.
They were remanded in custody by the judge, Mr Justice Penry-Davey. Bail applications were due to be made today.
