STUDENTS from a Lancaster stage school raised the rafters at Lancaster Cathedral this week by singing hymns for a special TV production.
The 11 year olds from Stagecoach Theatre School were recorded live in the Cathedral performing popular hymns such as 'Away in a Manger' and 'All Things Bright and Beautiful.'
Some of the students sang solos during the televised performance and Stagecoach principal, Ann-Marie Coulston said: "It was a wonderful and exciting opportunity for all are students to become involved in the production of a high profile television broadcast."
The hour-long programme, My Favourite Hymns, is presented by John Stapleton and broadcast on Sunday mornings at 11am.
