A LOCAL doctor has just had his first book published -- and it's set to go down a storm with women across the country.
James Fleming, a junior doctor in the casualty ward at Royal Preston Hospital, has used his knowledge to find a cure for cellulite that actually works.
James, 27, said: "People came to me after I had treated them and when I asked, was there anything else I could do to help them, they used to say, 'Can you rid me of cellulite?'
"I looked it up on the internet. It was all about skin brushing and not drinking coffee, but I wanted to know the facts behind all these treatments."
So James, who lives in Whittle Park, Clayton-le-Woods, near Leyland, began to research everything he could find about the mysterious skin conditition for his book, Beat Cellulite Forever.
And sufferers will be interested to know that one treatment he recommends in particular is a special skin massage.
"One of the treatments I have found that seems to work is Endermologie, which involves dragging and pulling the skin. It doesn't hurt, and there are no needles involved or anything."
The busy doctor and budding author is even finding time in his hectic schedule to stand as a Conservative councillor in the local elections next month, as well as appearing on Channel 4's Richard and Judy.
Beat Cellulite Forever is available from major bookshops, priced £6.99.
