A JUDGE discharged a jury in the case of two Earby men said to have been involved in trouble at a workingmen's club.
Judge Raymond Bennett made his decision at Burnley Crown Court on the second day of the trial of Glyn Sedman, 39 and Gary Hooper, 22.
The defendants are now due to be tried in July 22.
Sedman, of Brownroyd, denied assault causing actual bodily harm and Hooper, of Waddington Street, pleaded not guilty to wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, an alternative allegation of unlawful wounding and assault causing actual bodily harm, in January last year.
The offences are alleged to have taken place at Central Workingmen's Club in Earby.
