SMALL screen hopeful Jemma Gofton is hoping that her luck will be in when judges pick a new face to help present the National Lottery TV show.
Jemma (30), of Tottington, is one 12 finalists competing to replace Camelot's current drawmaster, John Willan, who helps to pick the numbers.
The role is set for a higher profile when he retires, and Jemma was among 1,000 entrants who sent videotape auditions for the slot. She then went on to complete a series of auditions in London, with the result announced on April 29.
As well as doing modelling work, Jemma has already broken into TV with appearances on Granada's Lunchtime Live and Animal Watch.
She said: "Even if I don't get the job, I would still be quite proud of myself for getting this far."
