A COUPLE and their young son are beginning their fourth week in hospital following a gas explosion at their home on Easter Monday.
The blast in Standen Road, Clitheroe, killed Andrew Marsden, aged nine, after a week-long battle for life at Booth Hall Hospital.
His parents John and Lynn were today said to be "comfortable" in the Royal Preston Hospital, while Stephen, six, was described as "stable" at Liverpool's Alder Hey.
They are recovering from severe burns.The Health and Safety Executive and Transco are investigating.
