A MAN has appeared before Blackburn magistrates facing charges including throwing a petrol bomb at a house in Scotland Bank Terrace.
Karl Parkinson, 20, of Brookway, Blackburn, and a 17-year-old youth are charged with burglary with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm, burglary with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm, carrying an iron bar and arson with intent to endanger life.
They were both sent to Preston Crown Court. The youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was bailed. Parkinson was bailed on condition that he lives at a bail hostel in Staffordshire.
