HYNDBURN school pupils discovered the right formula to succeed in science.
The youngsters attended a Chemistry at Work event at the Clayton Park Conference and Learning Centre in Clayton-le-Moors to find out about career options in chemistry.
Youngsters fingerprinted each other and discovered the chemistry involved in the forensic process at a presentation by the University of Central Lancashire.
Meanwhile, Burnley Healthcare Trust's Diabetic Unit made the students aware of how to look out for symptoms of the debilitating disease.
The event was organised by the East Lancashire Education Business Partnership and included representatives from the fields of health, education and commerce across East Lancashire -- including Blackburn College, Burnley Health Care Trust, Lancashire Fire and Rescue and aerospace experts Hurel Hispano of Burnley.
