AN ARTIST has invited Hyndburn residents to create their own version of TV's smash-hit DIY show Changing Rooms.
Anita Burrows is staging two workshops where adults and children can make their own printing blocks.
She said: "The blocks people create can be used to print a variety of materials from paper to fabric. You can even set up your own Changing Rooms by incorporating them into your home decor."
The workshops will be between 2pm and 4pm on May 4 and 6 at the Haworth Art Gallery in Accrington, and will make use of the gallery's collection of wooden hand blocks dating back to 1917.
The events are open to all ages, but children under 11 must be accompanied by a guardian. Places, costing £1 for each workshop, are limited to 15 each day.
For further details and information on future workshops contact Yvonne Robins, learning and access officer, on 01254 233782.
