A COMEDY play written in rhyming couplets comes to Darwen Library Theatre next month.
'Swollen Tongues' offers a contemporary take on Restoration comedy.
The story follows two siblings, Thomas and his sister Catherine, who are instructed in the powers of poetry by Dr Wise and discover that no one is without secrets.
And they find that poetry can unlock the door to love in unexpected ways.
The show comes to the recently refurbished Darwen Library Theatre on May 13 from 7.30pm as part of a national tour.
Tickets are available by calling 01254 706006.
