WOULD-BE artists who have always wanted to try their hand at painting but never known where to start can get advice at an Absolute Beginners Watercolour Challenge workshop in Rawtenstall.
Sessions are held at the Rossendale Museum in Whitaker Park every Thursday until the end of May, between 10am and noon.
They offer step by step teaching for beginners of any age and cover different themes, such as lavender and carnation, the lighthouse, tulips in the meadow, summer sunset and boats on Windermere.
The workshops cost £20 a session, which includes the use of all art material, and a mount and frame to finish of the completed painting .
Anyone wanting to book a session should contact Angela or John on 0800 0933088.
