THANK you for your report (LET, April 17) about the controversy over plans to close a 'lifeline' footpath in our area and for your Opinion on the issue.
Mr John Fowley's photograph looked good, but it just shows what the crime situation is if, after three years, he is willing to throw the towel in and leave.
Some of the elderly residents have been here 15 years and I have lived here 10 years.
And they say women are the weaker sex. It must be our bulldog spirit that keeps us going.
