ACCRINGTON STANLEY are the toast of the county after winning the Lancashire FA Marsden Trophy in dramatic style with a 2-0 victory over Barrow last night.
And Reds boss John Coleman beamed: "I feel very proud. It's great for the town."
A crowd of 1,330 at Morecambe's Christie Park watched as top scorer Paul Mullin gave Stanley a 23rd minute lead away.
Although skipper Peter Cavanagh was dismissed for a second bookable offence on the stroke of half time Simon Carden grabbed the second after the break.
