VOTERS can make their voices heard next week when a third of Wigan MBC councillors stand for re-election.
Elections take place next Thursday, May 2 with polling booths open from 8am to 9pm. One seat in each ward is up for re-election.
The full list of candidates is:
ASHTON-GOLBORNE: Stanley Charles Barnes (Community Action), Andrew John Bullen (Labour), Jonathan Charles Cartwright (Conservative), Marian Markham (Socialist Alliance).
ATHERTON: Ann Davies (C), Susan Loudon (L), Patricia Mary Myler (Lib Dem), Stephen David Shallcross (Independent).
BEDFORD-ASTLEY: Frederick Bown Walker (L). Unopposed.
