A WEEKEND of car vandalism left owners counting the cost in the centre of Lancaster.
On Friday, a car parked on Golgotha Road, Lancaster, was walked over, causing dents in the roof and leaving footprints.
The damage is estimated at £ 200.
On Saturday night, 17 cars had their tyres slashed on one street close to the centre of Lancaster.
Police say a sharp object was used to let down the tyres of cars on Langdale Road in the early hours of the morning.
The road is on the route home for many revellers at the large nightclubs in Lancaster City Centre.
A similar incident earlier this month saw several cars damaged in the Moor Lane and Moor Close area of the city.
