A TEENAGE boy had jewellery and a mobile phone stolen after he was threatened by a thug at the Metrolink station in Whitefield.
The thief escaped by jumping on a Manchester-bound Metrolink tram.
Police say the mugger threatened to hit the 16-year-old who handed over two chains and his phone, worth £480.
Officers are continuing their investigations into the incident which happened at 7.30pm on Sunday (April 21).
