BRAVE Sean Slattery certainly stuck his neck out for a good cause!
The 33-year-old general assistant at Asda's Pilsworth store volunteered himself for a day in the stocks to raise money for Christie's Against Cancer.
He was targeted with wet sponges as part of the store's effort to raise £15,000 for the charity by the end of the year. Sean's efforts alone brought in more than £200.
Assistant events co-ordinator Jackie Sorfleet said: "Sean was dripping wet and freezing cold at the end of it, but the whole thing was very well received."
